Terms of Service
Last updated: May 13, 2026
These Terms of Service govern access to and use of the Athletes2Events platform, doing business as A2E ("A2E," "we," "us," or "our"). A2E provides software that helps tournament organizers manage events, applications, payments, rosters, schedules, scoring, communications, reports, and related workflows.
By accessing or using A2E, creating an account, registering a team, submitting payment information, entering scores, or otherwise using the platform, you agree to these Terms. If you are using A2E on behalf of an organization, team, club, tournament, or other entity, you represent that you are authorized to bind that entity.
1. Roles on the Platform
A2E supports several types of users, including tournament organizers, site administrators, team managers, coaches, parents, players, score administrators, college coaches, and other event participants. Your rights and responsibilities may depend on your role and the event-specific rules published by the tournament organizer.
2. Organizer Responsibility
Tournament organizers are responsible for the events they operate through A2E, including event rules, eligibility requirements, application review, acceptance decisions, roster requirements, schedule accuracy, field assignments, score review, disputes, refund decisions, event cancellation decisions, communications, and compliance with applicable laws, governing-body rules, and facility requirements.
A2E provides the technology platform. Unless expressly stated in writing, A2E is not the host, sanctioning body, tournament director, referee assignor, club administrator, or legal decision-maker for any event listed or operated through the platform.
3. Team, Parent, Player, and Manager Responsibility
Team managers, coaches, parents, and other registrants are responsible for submitting accurate information, obtaining required permissions, ensuring roster eligibility, complying with event rules, paying applicable fees, reviewing schedules and updates, and communicating accurate information to their teams and families.
If you submit information about a minor, player, coach, parent, or other person, you represent that you have the authority or consent required to provide that information for event administration purposes.
4. Accounts and Security
You agree to provide accurate account information and keep login credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account. You must notify A2E promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.
5. Payments, Fees, and Refunds
A2E may support online payments through third-party payment processors. Payment processing terms, service fees, card network rules, ACH rules, chargeback rules, and bank requirements may apply.
Event registration fees, application fees, team fees, late fees, discounts, coupons, offline payments, refunds, and cancellation rules may be set or controlled by the tournament organizer. A2E may charge or facilitate processing fees or platform-related fees as disclosed during registration or payment. Refunds are governed by the applicable event policy, our Payment and Refund Policy, payment processor rules, and applicable law.
6. Schedules, Scores, Standings, and Event Information
A2E helps publish schedules, standings, brackets, scores, field information, and related event data. Event information may change due to weather, field availability, referee availability, tournament decisions, scoring corrections, eligibility issues, technical errors, or other operational needs. Users are responsible for checking official event communications and updates.
A2E does not guarantee that any schedule, standing, score, bracket, acceptance status, roster status, field assignment, or event result will be error-free, final, or unchanged.
7. Communications
A2E and tournament organizers may send event-related emails, texts, announcements, system notices, payment notices, roster reminders, schedule updates, scoring updates, and administrative messages. Message and data rates may apply. You are responsible for keeping your contact information current.
8. User Content and Data
You retain ownership of information and materials you submit to A2E, subject to the rights needed for A2E to operate the platform. You grant A2E a limited right to host, process, display, transmit, store, copy, format, and use submitted information as needed to provide the platform, support event operations, process payments, communicate with users, maintain records, comply with law, and improve services.
You agree not to upload unlawful, infringing, misleading, harmful, malicious, defamatory, obscene, discriminatory, or unauthorized content.
9. Acceptable Use
You may not misuse A2E, interfere with platform security, attempt unauthorized access, scrape or harvest data without permission, upload malware, impersonate others, misrepresent eligibility or payment status, abuse communication tools, reverse engineer the platform, or use A2E in a way that harms users, tournament organizers, A2E, or third parties.
10. Intellectual Property
A2E owns or licenses the platform, software, design, workflows, text, graphics, logos, trademarks, and related technology. These Terms do not grant you ownership of the platform or A2E intellectual property. You may use A2E only as permitted by these Terms and applicable agreements.
11. Third-Party Services
A2E may integrate with third-party services such as payment processors, email providers, SMS providers, hosting providers, storage providers, analytics tools, and mapping or communication services. We are not responsible for third-party services, and your use of those services may be governed by their own terms and policies.
12. Suspension and Termination
A2E may suspend or terminate access to the platform if we believe a user has violated these Terms, created security risk, submitted inaccurate or unlawful information, failed to pay amounts owed, caused operational risk, violated event rules, or used the platform in a way that may harm A2E, organizers, participants, or third parties.
13. Disclaimers
A2E is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, A2E disclaims warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, and accuracy of event information provided by users or organizers.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, A2E will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages; lost profits; lost revenue; loss of data; event cancellation losses; travel costs; tournament outcome disputes; schedule changes; roster eligibility decisions; payment processor errors; or claims arising from organizer decisions or participant conduct.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, A2E's aggregate liability for claims arising from or relating to the platform will not exceed the amount paid directly to A2E for the specific transaction or service giving rise to the claim during the six months before the claim arose.
15. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless A2E, its owners, officers, employees, contractors, service providers, and affiliates from claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from your use of the platform, your submitted content, your event operations, your violation of these Terms, your violation of law, or your infringement of third-party rights.
16. Governing Law and Venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Unless otherwise required by law, disputes will be brought in the state or federal courts located in San Diego County, California, and each party consents to those courts.
17. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised date. Continued use of A2E after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms.
